Currency Switcher Apps

Some apps that allow your customers to switch currencies can stop Humm from being able to pass the correct currency to the Humm portal. Therefore if your site default currency is Pound Sterling (£) and your customer chooses Euro (€) they may end up paying the value of the Euro amount but in pounds. This may cause an over or under payment to you depending on the currency chosen.

It is best to set up your currencies through the Shopify settings.

How to set up Multi-Currency in Shopify to work with Humm

  1. If you want to use Humm with multiple currencies, you must have an account with us in each currency. If you are not sure, please ask your account manager and they will be able to guide you on setting up your account in Pound Sterling (£) or Euro (€).
  2. If you are trading in both Euro and Pound Sterling, you must have these Markets set up. To do this, go to Settings > Markets > Add Market.
  3. Once your Markets are set up, you can enter your IE and UK credentials into the Humm payment settings. To do this go to Settings > Payments > Manage (beside the Humm section).
  4. If you have any issues with setting up Humm on your Shopify site, please submit a ticket with our integrations team. You can submit a ticket here: https://docs.shophumm.com/docs/live-integrations-technical-support
